الحاسب اللوحي Zenpad S8 يتميز بتصميم ممتاز، مصنوع أساسا من الألمنيوم باستثناء جزء صغير من البلاستيك الذي يوهمك بملمسه أنه من الجلد، وزن الحاسب يعتبر خفيفا (298g)، وبالنسبة لسمك الحاسب هو فقط 6.6 ملم.


الشاشة :
الحاسب يمتلك شاشة IPS بحجم 8 انش، وبدقة (QXGA (2048*1536. دعمت Asus الشاشة بعدّة تقنيّات لتحسين التجربة مثل تقنية visual master، و تقنية Tru2Life.

الصوت : الحاسب يمتلك مكبّرات صوت ثنائيّة من الأمام، وهي من شركة dts.

الأداء :
الحاسب بمعالج Intel Atom Z3520، رباعي الأنوية، وبتقنية 64 بت، وهو ثاني معالج من معالجات أنتل القوية، سريع الدخول للبرامج والخروج منها، لا يوجد بطء أثناء تصفّح النظام. معالج الرسوميّات هو PowerVR G6430 ، وهو ممتاز جدًّا.

البطّاريّة: بحسب ماذكرته Asus فإنها تصمد لمدة 8 ساعات أثناء الإستخدام.
الكاميرا:
الدقّة في الكاميرا الخلفيّة هي 8MP، و الكاميرا الأماميّة دقّتها 5MP، ومع ذلك فإن جودة الصور غير جيّدة.
النظام:
الحاسب يعمل بنظام Android 5.0.2 وبواجهة ZenUI.
